Where appropriate NatureBureau personnel are expected to:

In all its undertakings NatureBureau adheres to the Code of Professional Conduct of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM).
Printing, copying and other paper purchased by Naturebureau are always environmentally-friendly (where practical with a minimum of 75% recycled fibre). Staff are urged to use double-sided printing and copying options for all documents. Bins are provided in the office for the recycling of toner cartridges, glass, plastic, cans, cardboard and waste paper (separated as white waste and non-white waste – the former necessitates NatureBureau paying for a annual ‘duty of care’ compliance certificate as well as the collection charges).
NatureBureau uses gas-fired heating and has installed low-energy lighting.
Where possible staff members are encouraged to cycle to work. Cycle racks are installed outside the NatureBureau offices.
Public transport must be used on all company business where it is available and efficient to do so.
