  • Chairman

Paul established NatureBureau in 1990, after five years managing the conservation programme of ICBP (now BirdLife International). His ecological career experience spans over 30 years, focused on the Black Sea basin. His interests are protected area management, bustard conservation, pro-biodiversity business development and enhancing ecological professionalism.

  • Assistant Ecologist

Martin leads on much of the terrestrial ecology work and has a particular interest in invertebrates. Martin holds both an MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation and a BSc in Zoology from the University of Southampton. Martin started his career volunteering at NatureBureau but quickly become a fully-fledged employee and has been involved in large habitat mapping and phase 1 habitat surveys. One of Martin's greatest strengths is his GIS skills, which has allowed him to take charge of almost all of NatureBureau's GIS work.
