Natalie is our lead marine scientist providing advice on habitats, ecological impact assessments for offshore windfarms, marine mammal surveys and management planning guidelines for Marine Protected Areas networks. Natalie's PhD investigated the impacts of climate change on the ecology and physiology of fish.

As a graphic designer, publisher and wildlife expert, Pete brings a keen eye for detail and a passion for wildlife into all of his design projects. Pete provides a wealth of experience of printed and online wildlife media to NatureBureau and hosts an image library of thousands of flora and fauna.
Barbara Creed BASenior Designer
Barbara specialises in designing and formatting brochures, websites, posters and books, bringing a modern and innovative approach to all of her graphic design projects and has built a network of clients across the UK and Europe.
Paul Goriup MSc, CEcol, CEnv, FCIEEMChairman
Paul established NatureBureau in 1990, after five years managing the conservation programme of ICBP (now BirdLife International). His ecological career experience spans over 30 years, focused on the Black Sea basin. His interests are protected area management, bustard conservation, pro-biodiversity business development and enhancing ecological professionalism.
Thomas Haynes MSc, MCIEEMManaging Director/Ecology Director
Tom started at NatureBureau as an Ecologist and worked his way up to Director. Tom is passionate about habitats including their management and monitoring in both the terrestrial and marine realms. Tom is interested in anything to do with saltmarshes, coastal habitats, botany and bryophytes.
Aurea PaqueteAssistant Designer
Aurea has a professional approach working on a variety of projects involving design, layout and picture editing. She is passionate about wildlife and pays great attention to detail in her work. Aurea’s first language is Portuguese and she is also fluent in English.
Laurie Strike ACMA, CGMAFinancial Director
Laurie is an experienced financial manager having overseen many projects in the construction trade in the UK and across the world. Laurie oversees all of NatureBureau’s contractual and financial matters in the UK and Europe.
Beki Vince BScOffice Manager/PA
Beki ensures that NatureBureau's office is maintained and that all of our company policies are adhered to. Beki undertakes countless tasks to make sure the office runs properly including managing our busy bookshop. She also supports Tom's work as Managing Director.
Martin Kennedy MScAssistant Ecologist
Martin leads on much of the terrestrial ecology work and has a particular interest in invertebrates. Martin holds both an MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation and a BSc in Zoology from the University of Southampton. Martin started his career volunteering at NatureBureau but quickly become a fully-fledged employee and has been involved in large habitat mapping and phase 1 habitat surveys. One of Martin's greatest strengths is his GIS skills, which has allowed him to take charge of almost all of NatureBureau's GIS work.
