Bookshop T&C’s and Shipping and Returns
If you place an order online to purchase a product from us we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we deliver the product to you. Any products on the same order which we have not delivered to you do not form part of that contract. You warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and that you are at least 18 years old.
Description of the Goods
We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published, including prices and promotions.
We despatch orders as promptly as we can (often the same day) and aim to ensure all orders are despatched within two working days of receiving the order (except pre-publication orders). Depending on the weight of the item(s) your order may be sent by either courier or Royal Mail.
Orders in postage bands D and F will usually be sent by courier on a next working day service, other items are usually sent by Royal Mail second class post (delivery aim 3 days).
The delivery charge for an order is calculated according to the weight of the item(s) and the delivery address. The cost of delivery is shown in the basket once the delivery address is confirmed.
Cancellation and Returns
Cancellation If you would like to cancel your order please let us know as soon as possible – ideally before the goods are despatched.
If you wish to return any item you must notify us within 14 days of delivery of the item(s). All unwanted goods must be returned within a further 14 days. Please ensure that the item is carefully packed as it must reach us in a resalable condition, it is advisable to use a tracked service as the item is your responsibility until it reaches us. This does not affect your statutory rights. When we receive the item we will process as refund or send a replacement as appropriate. If you request a refund we will refund the price paid for the goods and standard outward postage only. Refunds will be made within 14 working days.
Damaged or Faulty Goods
If you receive an item which is damaged, incorrect or faulty please notify us as soon as you can. If goods have been damaged in transit please retain the packaging for inspection if required. We will let you know whether the item needs to be returned and arrange a refund or replacement. Customs Fees and Charges for Overseas Delivery
Orders that are shipped overseas may be subject to custom duties, and these are not included in the purchase price. As the buyer, you are responsible for these charges - unfortunately we have no control over them and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. If you would like any further information, you should contact your local customs office.
